Fifth season contestant Chris Daughtry is returning to the American Idol stage with his rockin’ band!!!
Chris Daughtry is performing on "American Idol" as everyone's still buzzing about Kris Allen making the final three. They replay the tape three years ago of Chris shockingly getting cut and Katherine McPhee moving on.
Daughtry are going to debut the first single, No Surprise (and it is No Surprise how awesome it is) from their upcoming album that is coming out on July 14th!!! The yet-to-be-titled CD is the band’s first one since the chart topping self-titled CD which was the largest selling album of the year in 2007!
He's just a rock star, period. Nothing gimmicky or nostalgic about his performance; unlike some of the other returning "Idols" he doesn't need the show to keep boosting his career.
